Is this a good deal for a 95' 240?

Hey guys there is a 95 240SX, 5spd, 108Kmi for $3400 near me. Which sees like a real good deal to me, compared to what I've seen others going for. I figured it had a salvaged title or something. So I checked the car fax, and it was clean and suprisingly only one owner. The car is in NJ, according to Carfax, it was only inspected twice, once in 1997 and once in 2002, i was under the impression NJ cars were required inspection every year and at State inspection stations? Is there anything wrong with only being inspected twice in the past 8 years? I will be going tommorow to check out and hopefully drive the car. What are some known problem areas that I can visualy check during my visit? Thanks for any help guys.

listen to Tino, get that car. its a very good deal. it still could have been wrecked and just not turned into an insurance company though. just test drive it, make sure its all good, get it checked out at a mechanic you trust, and if its alright, get it. great deal.

I paid 4000 for my 92 SE, so I'd say yep, good deal, assuming it's on the up and up.

Yes that is a really good deal, and until I believe 2000 cars had to be inspected every year, now its every two years. The only reason why it would have been inspected twice is if it was never driven, but that is not the case. Maybe he went to a gas station, but those inspections weren't implemented until recently either. Just call up and ask him. Other than that it is a VERY good deal. If you end up not taking it, TELL ME, I live in NJ and would be VERY VERY willing to buy it.

thats a damn good deal, in early january i got my 96 s14 for 4k with 100k miles on it, no probs cept that pesky o2 sensor. get that car man you wont be dissappointed

please do i'm in south jersey i wish i found that last year when i bought mine for 4500 and its an auto (ewww) every opton except leather tho if that counts as anything

Dang it guys, I waited to long on this. I saw this last thursday, and called about it, and he said someone was coming to look at it that day, and then it snowed on Friday, and i think was closed on Sat. I took the weekend, to think it over and get the insurance setteled and everything, and was ready to go back today with cash in had to purhcase the vehicle after thoroughly looking at it. I called back, and he said it was already sold. So some word of advice for you guys waiting to buy, make sure you have all of your insurance, finances etc ready, so you can jump on top of a deal asap. Luckily I just found another 95' 240SX with ac, ps, pw, sunroof, and a 115K mi for $3800. This is more expensive and higher mileage than the one i saw before, but I'm going to get the VIN number and check this one out asap, hopefully it is clean and in good condition, at least I am ready to buy the same day.
