i know a company that does rb swaps and imports motors and all that and i asked for an rb25 swap and they said 3800 for everything where i can just drop it in. they make there own mounts and stuff it comes with

MotorTransECUwiring harness wiring serviceMAFS1 piece driveshaftLLK mounting kitLLK billet throttle bracketAnd all other needed parts to install your motor.

does 3800 i got and pick it up seem like a decent price?

my goal is like 450-500 torque responsive hp. i think and rb25 would be the best way to go

but you forget basics like water pump oil pump belts timing belt +tensioner all the extra little things. realistically your looking to put in another 600 on top at least. Then you'll want a better turbo, and injectors, and tuning etc etc etc. Just to let you know, the stuffs not cheap. it doesnt seem like it but even the rb20s are expensive.

I'd say that's a pretty good price. I'd do it if their work is good and the driveshaft isn't a weenie.

Move it to 240 gen it'll be a 50+ pager in a month! lol

I'd hold off on the RB altogether until your out of school, I learned that lesson the hard way. Being too poor to even make uneeded trips when Premium is over 3 a gallon... Just keep that in mind. If you can swing it and pay the bills though after tuition, then go for it!

If you can take out federally subsidized student loans, go for it because you can get them at insanely low rates. It's the closest thing to a free loan that you'll come across.
