So ever since Ive put my KA back in so I could drive my s13, its had a missfire issue.
It would miss fire off idle, then clear up. It stayed like that for about 4K miles. Then it started getting worse. Before a drift event i replaced the spark plugs and cap and rotor and it went away for about 2 weeks.
Then it was back miss firing more then ever off idle up to around 3K, then mostly went away and came back after 4500.
Then 2 days ago it dies on highway just crusing. I lost all engine power, and my tach went dead.
Now I had my driver side harness rub through the tire but i fixed that and it didnt act like this, i could still drive the car.
So, mainly due to the fact this KA is 207K miles old and very abused, and the tach went dead, i think i have a bad dizzy. I have tried a new ign coil and ignitor but its the same problem. But the one my friend gave me was rusty on the out side.
But Im looking to buy a dizzy, any one got one?
