I have an S14 sr in my 89 S13. The ECU that the place sent with the swap says "Genuine Nissan Remanufactured Electronic Control Unit" on it, along with A16-E83. I'm pretty sure that it is supposed to say WC on it, but it doesnt. And wouldnt you know it the car will not start( no spark). All other sensors have the correct voltage. I'm pretty sure that the ECU is junk but any info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, 2371M-69F01.

There is also G40K 9603 and C2 is stamped on the back of the case if it helps.

i got an s14 sr20 aswell and the ecu does say WC on it but you said thats its been Remanufactured so they might of took the sticker of and besides it has to be an s14 sr20 ecu because the s13 and the s15 ecu's are different from the plug and wouldn't fit in the s14 harness. and if you got a newer year of ecu it would have an NA on it but it should still give a spark. have you checked your igniter chip that was the problem i had when i did my swap. Oh and if you say everything else have voltage doest that been that the ecu is working then?

ECU's that have been remanufactured by Nissan are common. Most times it is just redone to stock condition, occasionally Nismo has one tuned and it says its been reman'd. I doubt yours is tuned but 2371M-69F01 is the ecu code for a early 1995-mid 1996 S14.

This is more commonly known as the S14 ECU with the black WC (23710-69F01). It should be able to run your car, you may have wiring issues.

I doubt that there is any kind of tune either because it doesnt have any extra boards to store the fuel maps.

As for the wiring I'm about 99% sure that it is right and the ignitor is good. Though there is no power to the ignitor and coils. Also their is one wire (pin 105) that I dont know where it should go. I believe that has something to do with the fuel pump, but my walbro primes and works like it should.
