Is there going to be All new EX anytime soon?

I was wondering if there would be all-new EX coming in to Canada or in any where. I am considering EX35 for my next baby (currently driving Subaru Impreza 07' which is keeping breaking on me), however I would like to wait if there will be new EX is coming out. I really like the interior and options that EX has now, but I HATE the butt of current EX, no offense to those who own them right now.

Although if the price of current EX become more affordable by end of this year, it would not be rejected from my wish lists.

Any information on current EX prices (incl. invoice prices) and future EX would be greatly appreciated. By the way I am in Calgary.

I wouldn't count on the physical exterior appearance changing in any significant way, though I guess you never know. I think they are going to change the engine and shorten the back seats to "create" more leg room. They are also going to alter the packages up some and create a few more standard features. I think the base model goes bye bye too. That's what I've heard, but I guess that's nowhere near definitive. With the new engine in the 2010s, I wouldn't expect them to be discounting as much as the current iteration. It's all speculative though, but my guess is that the new iteration will cost you several grand more out the door.

Maybe someone knows more.

Thank you Bmore for sharing the information.I am considering to wait till other CUVs such as BMW X1, AUDI Q3, MB GLK with smaller engines are coming out, so I guess I am not in hurry.

Could you share little bit more about new engine they are putting it?Thanks Bmore

The future engine for North America is likely the same engine that had recently launched in Europe in the EX37. A 3.7L version of the VQ series with a 7 speed automatic transmission. Otherwise, pretty similar to the current EX35. Rumor is that it will appear in the the North American 2010 model.
