Don't try, it wil never be legal. Its been tried.

You can put a engine in the car as long as it was in the same chassis and its the same year or newer.

aznromeox: Thats not entirely true. You can put any engine in any car as long as its on the epa and dot approved list of engines and it meets all epa and dot requirements. This why people can put 350's and etc. into all kinds of cars and still have it legal.
