I found an incredible deal on 4 17" Tenzo Passion Rims. They sell all over the web for $150 each plus shipping and I have the opportunity to buy all 4 for just $100 total. Now the bad news; two of them have pretty bad dents in them as seen in the pics. I'm wondering if there's any place I could take then to that could repair them. Not knowing where else to turn for this info I figure maybe one of my fellow Niconauts might know. I guess my questions are: Can they be fixed or are they trash? If yes, where? What kind of business? If yes, how much do you think it might cost?Any chance I could do it myself? Maybe with a torch and a rubber mallet? lolHow do you think they'd look on my red 240?If they CAN't be fixed, would you still go ahead and buy 2 for $100 and worry about filling out the set later?

I'm new to the whole "performance" game. I've never owned after market rims before so I'm kind of clueless so thanks for any and all help. -Glyph

going larger rims on ur 240 isn't a performance gain... at least not tenzo's, hahahaha.

anywayyyy, they can be fixed by places like rbmotoring.com, wheelchoice.com, as well as a host of other guys around the so cal area.

However, it will cost minimal $50-$100 per rim, where you may be better off buying the other 2 new.

And as for fixing it yourself, there is a reason shops charge that much to fix a bent rim. Would you fix your own quarter panel w/ a mallet & torch? Fixing a rim is much harder... and more life threatening if you don't do it right.

Those rims are ok I guess. I liked them when I was first rim shopping, then decided to get better offset, wider, fancier rims .

answer: yes, they can be fixed. your best bet, call around your area and compare prices. brokeAs240sx is right, they range around those prices from 50-100, depending on how bad the damage is (might be cheaper if your lucky). i don't however, advise that your do it yourself.... what are the offsets on those... tenzos?
