Is there any Recall or bad thing about the 99 Fronteir XE??

Ok here is the deal my best friend is thinking about get his mom coworkers 99 Fronteir King Cab XE but he does not know is it the I-4 or V6. But please tell me both bad about the 4 or 6 cycle.

oh by the way it a 2WD truck not 4WD.

good truck only a couple small recalls nothing major. recall may or may not apply to that specific vin... if its a standard chassis its a 4cyl if its a 4X4 chassis its a V6. the 4 cyl isnt very powerful but the VG33E V6 is pretty gutsy. nice little truck

when I reffered to the chassis as a 4X4 I was not saying it was 4WD only that it has the dessert runner chassis.(2WD with a 4WD chassis)
