I am wondering since I have the OBD1 cable on the way I am trying to find as much software as I can that works with this cable. But I foun this http://www.palmerperformance.c...x.php and this does Dyno and Quarter mile times. But is there a software that does this for OBD1?

Does anyone have any other software that might work with the consult cable?

(I took my car to New England Dragway with just a FSTB as a performance mod. I got 15.xx at xxx.xx miles I wasnt looking and I forgot to get the sheet that tells you you times being that it was my first time racing my car on the drag strip. I beat a 74 nova stock without cats with a 350 )

I use NissanDataScan (NDS) and bought the cable and software for $135 from Blazt, one of our sponsors. I also downloaded Calumsult and ECU Talk from the net for free but haven't been able to get either to work. I'm PC-challenged but you may be able to get both to work.

NDS is a great product but you have to buy it. Everything you need can be downloaded from the net but Blazt has to email the code to activate the program. It doesn't have a dyno but I'm not sure that any consult program will tell you horsepower. You have to enter tire size so I'm pretty sure that a 1/4 mile run is one of the features. You can also shut off one cylinder at a time and replay the data on a moving graph. If you can't get any of the freebies to give you the data you want it might be worth paying for NDS.

Yea but 48 bucks that seems like a strech for some software. I got the cable and licenced OBD1 scan Tech for 44 bucks, If it was say 20 bucks I would consider it but the price of the software alone can buy you a cable and some other software that might be just as good.

if you're wanting that sort of stuff, you'd probably want to buy some sort of accelerometer problem like a G-Tech or something.
