Do you ever think you're too old to be driving your Z ? I'm only 22 but sometimes I think I am and I don't know why, I even bought a BMW to make me feel more normal but at the end of the day I just don't give a s*** for the car and find myself going back to the Jap cars. Do you think there's an age where you're too old to be driving these ?

I personally feel its actually the opposite and that there is a "too young" age for someone to drive a Z. Its the older, more sophisticated, refined sports car. The big boys toy. For me its the step up. I had a previous project car that was more suited for my younger years. FWD, 4cyl, lower potential (aka safer), cheaper in most regards still very fun and educational.

Agreed...the level of refinement and creature comforts of the Z compared to most any other sub-$40K sports car makes it the "more sophisticated" car. And even today it holds it's own in many ways with cars FAR more expensive, and unfortunately also has a repair cost factor right there among those $40K cars.
And towards the OP's comment, personally seeing a 20 year old in a Z makes me wonder how long that Z will remain in one piece (LOTS of wrecked Z's from kids around here) or mechanically viable as most kids these days do not maintain their vehicles well beyond bolt-on's and styling mods.

+1

I bought my Z because my father had one when I was in high school. I loved his '84 special edition (anniversary edition? that's what he called it) And I always felt like someday when I grow up, I'd like to drive something like this ;) I chose a Z32 because of all the awards they won ;)
