My right front wheel is not centered in the wheelwell. I haven't yet determined the cause but it has been suggested that adjustable tension rods will allow me to fix it.

However, all the adjustable tension rods I have found (which I'll list below in case anyone else is looking) have pillowball mounts in the front instead of bushings. I'm not crazy about giving up alot of ride quality since my car is a daily driver.

Does anyone know of an adjustable rod that uses a bushing in the front ? I'd prefer the stock bushing size (for Nismo bushings) but I'd like to see any. Thanks.

The ones I've found so far:

SPL tension rods S13/Z32 $161 http://www.splparts.com/S13/Suspension/ArmBush.asp Adjustable front tension rods allow adjustment of front caster. Our tension rods feature solid spherical bearings (rod end) instead of mushy rubber bushings, main rod is mirror polished Duralumin (A7075) and buckle/nuts are plated steel. Supplied with nuts and bolts.

theres no adjustable t/c rod with a large rubber/poly bushing in it. THis is mostly due to the fact that the large bushing doesnt help the peice to do its job any better, but the heim joint does. the heim joint allows it to flex/rotate a bit + or - 7 degree I think, which aids in keeping the suspension in proper contact with the road through the tire, and also aleviates torsional stress from the LCA (which has been known to crack if you use a really stiff t/c bushing).

I ahve the battle-version T/C rods, and russ has cusco peices..I like mine because of the chromoly construction and teflon lining inside the joint...

I have a set of Project Silvia ones that I got from them on eBay. Cost $151 shipped. Considering that I have only seen other makes in pictures and not in person, I venture to say that these look great and appear to be very well made. Their customer service rocks as well.
