Is there a way to reroute the 89-91 240sx power steering wiring?

one of my friends is saying that i can just use hoses and extend some of the hose thats on the passenger side back to the right side, or if the sr20 motor is already in and the power steering hoses and lines are just hanging there can i still bend the lines forward close to the left front head light and bend it back to the 92-up power steering resovoir
