I'm kinda new to the whole import/mod scene but is there a reason not alot of people go to a 3.9 rear gear. It costs less than some/most exhasut installed and from my past experinces going from a 3.27 to a 3.73 has a huge fun factor. keep in mind my G is not a daily driver but i do drive it daily. Thanks in advance.

do a search for this, Beanor talked about doing this a while ago, and what he found was that it was not going to be worth the cost. This seems to be the reason for most people.

If you have other alternatives feel free to explain and post.

I have the stock vlsd (which is fine for me)so I would just buy and install the gears. Central 20 makes them and they retail for $499.99 and you can have them installed for about $250-300. Now if you got the gears and a fancy lsd like Quaife that would cost you.
