I need suspension for the everyday driver. All the coilovers I've seen you have to adjust on the outside, are there any coilovers out there where you can adjust your height from a push of a button on the inside for a s13?? Any links would be greatly appreciated. thx.

Yep - Search for "EDFC" here on NICO.

Wrong -- EDFC is TEIN's proprietary in-cockpit damping adjustment, not ride height adjustment.

There is no current in-cockpit ride height adjustment that I know of on any coilover. However, the lowrider gang has been doing it for years with airbags, but that's not really suited to a sports car application.

Ooops - My bad, I didn't read thoroughly.

I assumed he wanted dampening adjustability, not ride height.

Ride height = Bag it, y0.

I was passing by alignment shop the other day and saw Murcielago on the rack. I was wondering how it got up on the ramp, so I checked it out. Man... you can adjust the height with a push of a button from driver's seat. It was cool as hell and there was a bunch of wires coming out from the shocks.

This thread is hillarious.

Have you ever seen an s chassis coilover? You can't just mount a motor to it and make it adjustable from inside the cabin. Why would you even want that? Set them at the preferred height and leave it. Even if this was possible, it would still be a bad idea, because alignment settings change with ride height, so even if this was possible, you would just eat through your tires if you ever drove with them set on a different height setting than the setting at which you last had your car aligned.

And yes, edfc provides in car damping adjustment, but it is totally worthless.

Sushiadct: Most coilovers are fine for daily driving. You don't need adjustment controls in the cabin.

I thought the idea of EDFC was cool til I learned how it works. Its just a motor on top of the dampening adjustment knob. Not worth th money at all. Just pop the hood a twist the knob yourself. It can be done in less than a minute.

The only reason I wanted a system such as that, my driveway is steep and I like to keep my car in the garage without worring about people jacking my stuff. I take my car out frequently, I have einbach sportline springs; coilovers can be adjusted quickly?? Are certain coilovers easier to use then others?

Uhh yeah, but the question is, why would you have edfc on your car to begin with? EDFC and all of tein's models below 1500 dollars should go in the trashcan.

I wonder what other people do, but this is how I do. Jack my car up, remove the wheels and wear rubber gloves to turn the body of coilovers. They work like a charm. I got sore hands before, but not anymore. I measure length of each side to make them even.
