Installing a sub in a versa is no different than installing it in any other car. But if nothing comes up, Ill do a write-up on it, I get bored easily at my house so im looking for more things to do lol.

Right now my V is at the impound (very very long story but not bad on my part :D) and I can get it out next weekend. I still have the wires in there from my old sub setup. When I get it back Ill get pictures of where/how they were ran. But I reccomend you not hook up a sub to the stock radio, Ive heard stories about a sub setup freezing up the stock deck. But if you were to do that, you would have to get a hi/low (something) I dont remember exactly what its called.

If it's the stock deck, which as far as I know (the SL may), doesn't have a sub pre-out, you'd run wires from a left and right speaker into the high input on the amp. If you do have a sub pre-out, you normally just use RCA type cables and run them into the low input (which should be RCA style). Hiding the wires isn't rocket science. Just run them behind the dash out to the plastic door sills or whatever. You take off the sills and keep tucking them under there and put them back on then pull them through the back seat and into the trunk. Not much to it...

There is a way to hook up an amp to a stock deck whether is has out-puts or not. Im running by my friends audio shop later. Ill ask him what the exact name of the product and how its done.

The SL does have a sub output on it. There is even a wire running to the rear driver side panel in the luggage space. I used this to hook mine up (although I still had to run power wire for the amp.)
