is there a difference between frontier ka and 240 ka?

i have ka from a 98 fronteir in my 91 240. is there any difference between the stock 91 ka 240 motor or the 98 ka frontier motor?

If it's a longitudal mount, I think the only differences are the camshafts if I recall. But the 98 is of course OBD2 as well, so most of the electronics are gonna be different. If it's a transverse mount, I think a bunch of stuff is different.
