I have an an old 1984 300zx that needs alot of work. It has rust all through the unibody and might need a body transfer. Then engine, transmission and custom exhaust all run well. It produces twice the power of my other 1984 300zx. I was wondering if there was a shop in birmingham alabama that could do the job? ThanksJosh

Hi Josh, welcome aboard!

Might not be a bad idea to find a non-rusted "donor Z" with a bad motor... Save yourself a TON of trouble by just swapping the powerplant and running gear into the non-rusted Z..

Rust in a unibody means big bucks, and often really can't be "repaired" properly.

We have a ton of N. Bama members, I'll see if can direct a few your way....

I don't know about b'ham but DustinZ on this forum owns a shop in Huntsville about hour away from you. He could probably help you source a good body as well. .

Try PMing him
