Connect a wire from the aluminum structure of maf to engine block or other ground. This will ground maf if it has weak ground or no ground.

There are 3 wires coming off the MAF connector; black signal wire, white signal wire, black/white 12v power feed wire. The black and white signal wires are encased in a shielded conduit which is grounded.

the thing is that my engine is not turning on and i want to know maybe this could be one of the problems. it seems the previous ownerplayed around with the MAF plug. i checked it my self and it seems the wires have been cut. can some one give me a picture on how it should look.
