In addition to carbon dioxide, a product of burning fossil fuels, the EPA finding covers five other emissions that scientists believe are warming the earth when they concentrate in the atmosphere: Methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6).

Ha ha so all you nitrous users better stop lmao you are causing global warming so says the EPGHEY;)

Read it today at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/200...imate

I don't need to use nos on my car, but figured there are some CA users out there who do. The rest of this article probably spells trouble for the rest of us that are just dumping out of the down pipe lol. Well everyone expect the EPA to really crack down on us poor tuners, we'll probably have to invent a HPCA-DET (hydro-powered) May as well run on magic lol Anyways just a heads-up for the N20 users, you are killing our planet, and your motors lmao jk jk

so? N2O is for drag cars anyway and is irresponsible to use on the street anyway.

Plus it's ghey.

yea, N20 on the street is 100% fail IMO. and they wont ban it in off-road use, as they would have banned the use of "test-pipes" a looong time ago.

I love to use nitrous... O wait we are talking about cars

lol anyways. the only cheater juice we use is on the drag cars. though Im debating making a spary bar for the IC and may use a little spray. jury still out on that. just hate the florida heat.

Pft spray bar ghey bar lmao. Ever studied the actual thermodynamics of those on ic's? Pretty worthless+keep having to throw money at it if you plan on using it, which if you put it on there and use it like once a month what was the point anyways??? lol Just go air to water!!!!!! Air to water + mega efficient for ic:D Plus hardly anyone sporting an air to water on a ca. Would be Bosso!

Gabby, I would be willing to argue to effectiveness, and cost effeicieny of spray your IC with nitrous compared to meth/water injection or just pure water injection. Also I'm willing to bet that water injection alone would bring your IAT's down to that off spraying your IC with nitrous.

i'd go CO2 for a spray bar... far cheaper!

Omg TMS

See what I have to wonder is why is it ok to have no epa everywhere else and then the USA is like ok we have to screw our people over???? It's probably because our slack @$$ factories dumped freon into the atmosphere which caused huge ozone holes to burn us all alive and melt the north pole screwing the polar bears, sad day. No where else if I remember right in the world maybe besides the US and maybe Canada have EPA laws.

You know TMS I have a theory... There is a small spot/hole in the ozone layer above your day to day work route, giving you a small sun burn on the top of your head because you decided to go 34 instead of 32 lmao, must give you some interesting euphoria every time you spray lol!

P.S. Air to water 100%(it's always there so no having to go pay 30-40$ every time you fill your bottle/extra fuel cell/water/meth bottle) + efficiency even with co2/nos/watermeth mister/sprayer might get about half that (maybe a little more). Unless you are doing like direct injection into the manifold but we are talking outside and on the front of an fmic here

Im talking water/meth direct injection into your cold pipe/manifold. Who the hell would spray meth on the outside of their intercooler?

air to water takes a s*** ton more parts and heat exchanges, plus water is only as cool as the source that the water is held. in florida water gets a bit warmer in the summer. .... . much rather stick to the FMIC. the car is not strictly a drag car which I have toyed around with throwing spray on since we keep a heavy stock of nitrous and all the parts are sitting in storage for about 3 different kits from all the cars we have had.

never had a taste for running meth....... but straight water might be a far distant future type upgrade. why not run both? is there such a thing as too dense a charge?

ever sucked CO2 into your air filter? spraying into an IC has the possibility of being inducted into the filter. I will spend an extra 10 bucks to never have to worry about that fear..... drinking a little nitrous I dont have a problem with on the other hand..........

meth addicts..... seen those people move? they will put that s*** anywhere for an extra boost.... O wait....

btw as for the EPA..........

I would guess that the US has more cars on the road than any other nation in the world.

J-land, austrailla, zelanders, germans, ect all have their own laws that some of them seem FAR AND AWAY worse than anything stateside.

PS rush limbauh and the conservatives say goble warming is a myth..... so idk...... maybe we should just say f*** it?

Uhhhh so if everywhere else has stricter rules then why the f@(k do they all get to have the awesome cars and we don't?????? Germany has twin turboed V12's and I can't imagine their emissions are up to par with what we try to keep under control here. The Aussie's are all running crazy sh*t though you may be right on us having the most rides per population, but not by much these days. Think of the UK and Europe as a whole, plus Australia pretty sure most of those places are pretty comparable for every 3 people at least 1 has a car. See that's the problem lmao, everyone kinda just ignored global warming lol, and it's going to bite all of us in the @$$, but the good side for us is it's all ready screwed so maybe we are one of the last generations to get to have a little more fun before 50 years from now when the polar ice caps all melt causing sever title waves and making a "Water World" meets Mad Max kinda place lmao but we'll all be in our 80's or dead so it won't matter:D
