Is the steering rack the same for the 89-90 and the 91-93's?
Is the steering rack the same for the 89-90 and the 91-93's?
the reason i ask is that my rack is all tweaked and leaking like a faucet. i found a guy with an 89 and i have a 92. will this work or did they change the design for the dohc motor? thank you very much in advance.

as far as i can tell they should be the same from 1990 to 1994...you can find out for shure by looking at the part numbers..if there the same..then bingo!..your in like flynn.

damn this sucks, im going to have to raise the engine out of the car to swap racks......

you dont have to take the moter out get it on a lift or up on jack stands it about an hour job

I have an Ls1 and i will 100% have to lift the engine to take the steering rack out.
