is the sr ignitor chip supposed to come on the wiring harness?

Wow, I know that is a stupid question, but I am a **** hair away from getting this damned s13 in my 98 240. t cranks, but no fire. Damndest thing, couldn't figure it out untill I noticed I didn't have an ignitor chip. Also, what is the engine vin # for a 95 blacktop s13? Do you think a diagnostics computer will work if I get it?

I know I'm stupid, I'm just a red neck from TN used to working on Chevys. Please don't bash me to hard....Or I'll kill you. Thanks, Scott

No it does not come included with the engine harness unless the seller specified that it should have. If you are missing the ignitor chip, time to look for one.

It won't fire without that igniter so you should have been provided one. If the company you got the harness from is reputable they should get you one.
