I am 6'2" and I fit with extra headroom but my BIG problem is they have the rear view mirror installed way too low on the windshield!Whenever I am taking a curve or trying to see the curb area I have to duct down to see under the mirror, this worries me that if something was to jump out in front of me or someone is running a light or stop sign I just might not see it coming!Nissan says they cant move the mirror up without permission from the Nissan Corp due to the mirror being a safety equipment item-even though it is a safety issue for me!Is any other Tall people having this problem as well? I just think if they are going to make and market a sub compact vehicle based around tall people then they should have made sure that you could see past the mirror!

I noticed the mirror mount is double ball-jointed. That is, there is a ball joint at where the mirror meets the stalk, and another ball joint where the mount glues to the windshield. It takes some force to adjust it, but I think this will give you a little more degree of freedom in finding the right position for you.

I broke a mirror off my windshield in my sable trying to pushi it as far left as it would go. I was trying to make room for my Sirius Sportster.

If you break this off you have to get special glue from the auto parts store to stick it back on the window.

I don't know what solvent takes it off, but you might ask or look at the back of the package of glue. If you have the right solvent, you can unmount the cleat from the window and remount it where you want it.

On most cars I have owned, I rotated the mirror upside down. It looks goofy, but gives the mirror a little more height without stressing the mount. I haven't done it to the Versa yet. Still getting used to having a usefull rearview mirror.

My Xterra one is folded up since it only shows my spare tire.

This really is a simple issue to fix. Remove the rearview mirror, and buy a kit to re-attach it a bit higher up. They are sold at Wal-Mart and auto-part stores. The only trouble you may have is getting the old mounting plate off, but don't worry - the kits come with new ones. I'm sure you can search the www to find out how people dissolved the glue, probably acetone or something like that.

Most cars I've owned that have the mirror attaching to the windshield itself don't have it directly glued. The adhesive attaches to a small metal plate, and then the mirror mounts to that plate by sliding down on it, and is secured by a small screw.
