Hi everyone!
I'm interested in buying a 2010 Nissan Versa. I've been to three local dealers, and I have good quotes from two of them. Can you help me determine whether the quotes they've given me are good deals?
Both quotes are for a 2010 Versa Hatchback 1.8 S model with additional Power Pack added (for cruise control). They both also include Floor Mats, Splash Guards & Full Window Tinting. The MSRP is $16,065, or so both dealers say! They also say the invoice is $15,381.
From John Mirazzi Nissan in Naples, FL:$14,130 Sales Price-$1,000 Trade In for my 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan with 159K miles in "good" condition.+699 Dealer Fee+ 335 Tag & DMV Fees+ 831 Tax
$14,996.10 OTD price, at 0.9% interest for 60 months, $0 down, for payments of $255.79.They also have a "win wheel" prize thingie with a minimum prize of $100 in value. And they will guarantee a replacement car or a shuttle for longer repairs.

From Sutherlin Nissan in Fort Myers, FL:$14,493 Sales Price-$1,000 Trade In for my 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan with 159K miles in "good" condition.+689 Dealer Fee+ 148 Tag & DMV Fees+ 854 Tax
$15,192.69 OTD price, at 0.9% interest for 60 months, $0 down, for payments of $259.96.They have no win wheel or other prize type incentives. And they wouldn't guarantee a replacement car or a shuttle for longer repairs.

So you can see that the OTD prices from both dealers are almost identical. But is that a good price at all? What if they're both really high? What if they're both really low? John Mirazzi Nissan seems to have much better reviews and customer service. But the question isn't which dealership. The question is is this a good deal at all, or should I go back and see if they can do better?
Any help, feedback or ideas would be great. This is my first new car purchase, and my first time having a car loan payment at all. I don't really know what I'm doing.
Thank you,
~
