Does anyone know if the paint on the M45 (specifically the Brilliant Silver) is clear-coated or not? I ask because the Zaino formulation to use is different (i.e., Z-2 and Z-3) for clear-coated cars. I am assuming that it is clear-coated, but I would like to confirm.

The Infiniti web site did not have the answer.

It is. It is a "cross-linked" clear coat system, specially bonded to the base coat (actually a 3-stage paint) to resist scratching.

Either Zaino product will work well though, according to Sal (Mr. Zaino).
