well im debating on upgrading to the nismo slave cylinder thats 20.54mm and the stock slave is 19.05mm and im running a spec stage 3+ and i was wondering if this is worth it cause i found one off a japanese performance site for $115 bucks and i can get a stock slave from mckinney for $70. would this upgrade really benifit me or should i just get another stock one?

rebuild the stock one for much less than both of those prices. theres a writeup on racebread. i think the spec stage 3+ junk is sprung anyway. even if it were unsprung just grow some calf muscle...

not to mention our pedals are light as **** compared to others. My cousins 5.0 stang uses a cable. His spec stage 3 is like a leg press.. and its sprung.... Mine is light as a feather... so there is always worse.

You should try the old dual disc South Bend clutch behind a cummins. Pretty much like doing 200lbs leg presses. Ate hydraulics like candy too...

Just get the one from Mckinney that they assemble themselves. Like you said its 70 bucks and I have been driving/dragging on my OS Giken Triple Plate clutch for about 7-8k miles now with that slave cylinder.....no problems

well i already rebuilt the one i have about 10k miles ago its just doesnt feel like it disengages the clutch all the way and its just for a piece of mind knowing i have a good rebuilt one so im willing to buy the one from mckinney. also my spec clutch is broken the srings on the sprung disc didnt like the brake boosting at all if i never did that im pretty sure it would of lasted alot longer. but do any of you know of a clutch thats just as good and price cause i only have enough to buy a new spec 3+ and im going to be pushing around 400-420rwhp here when i get my tune and i need a clutch thats not borderlined with its peak and that has room for more rwhp/rwtq.

I would consider going with a heavy duty RPS clutch for an NA 300ZX. I could probably request a 6-puck built to handle 600~lb/tq in the NA size and it wouldnt be a problem.....
