57k miles and on my third fuel pressure regulator, last one went out under the bumper to bumper warranty, but that has now expired and i just have my powertrain warranty left, so yesterday, same old same old, regulator going out again, So my question is if the Regulator is covered under powertrain warranty ? I really dont want to shell out the money to get the same thing replaced with one thats probably going to go out again. Or is there perhaps a parts warranty from the previous replaced one like a year or something ? Any insight would be appreciated!

if the work was done by the dealer, perhaps the replacement regulator itsself might be covered for as long as you own the vehicle, even if the power train doesn't cover it. seems these things are problematic. is there a TSB on them?

I can't believe you've had to have the same part replaced that many times and are under 60K. I know a lot of us have had the FPR replaced under warranty but only once. I'm at 43K, and had the FPR replaced in Sept 09, and all is still good. Did you ask Nissan if they would replace it under warranty for you?

I havent gotten a chance to take it in yet, So far its only not started once which was last sunday, if it happens again im gonna take it and see what they say about doing it at least under some type of part warranty? I thought i read somewhere where they fixed the problem with the newer regulators they are using ?? but seems to me like im getting just a new version of the previous part prone to failure.
