im gonna bypass my egr on my ka by placing a nickel in the exhaust manifold and screw that nut on it to keep it in place....i want to eliminate the egr valve on the intake manifold...can i do so? i kno its not really necessary and just used at low idle n stuff...or do i just need to get a new intake manifold to do all that?

If you want to pass emissions, you need the EGR valve, w/ out it you WILL fail. It basically recycles your exhaust to the intake. But if you dont care about emissions, then yes you can plug off the intake. I have seen people use something as simple as sheet metal to do the job.
