Looking to get more power out of my M45 Sport, Ive heard many good things about uprev but bullydog is half the price so just wanted to know if it was worth the buy. Do any of you guys have this installed and if so what are your power gains and 0-60 times looking like, lastly did you notice any MPG improvements ?

I personally think it's snake oil but someone here last year or the year before swore by it. I've had UpRev on two cars.

how much was it to uprev your M seems like prices vary from person to person

Depends on a variety of variables like is your ECU supported, are you doing eTune or tuning at a shop, etc. You should plan on a minimum of $500.

I would be tuning at a shop, 500 for just the tune right ive heard its in the 1,000 ballpark for the uprev tune + labor for tuning which is why Im debating going the bully dog route

Talk to Joe, Seymore64 here I believe. He does the eTune over email and it was definitely not anywhere close to $1k. But if you have a ton of parts and want a dyno tune, then he may be able to help.
