Is the 280zx limited slip interchangable with an s13's?

Topic says it all, I'm going to need the traction more in the 240 so I was thinking of swapping my LSD out of my daily.

Why don't you just swap in a tried and true lsd/vlsd??? Like a j30, 300zx, etc, etc. Those aren't that expensive at all.

u can pick up a r32 diff pretty cheap and no major mods from what ive been told

And if I give you a free b18 engine from a Honda, would you spend $5k-$10k of your money & time to fit that into your car???

There's a reason why it's free & no one on any board as far as I can tell are using a 280zx LSD in a 240. Whether you can get it to fit or not, w/ minor or major mods, free or not, it all boils down to it will cost you more in the end.

And yea, I'm just busting your balls . If you want to see how hard it is to do, you are going to have to figure out yourself. And if it doesn't work, o well, told you so. If it works, you'll be contributing to the nissan community and finding yet another way to improve our vehicles w/ other cars' parts despite the booing and hissing from other members like brokeAs240sx who doubted you in the beginning.

All I asked was if it will work... you said no, and then asked why. I answered, then it sounded like you got a little heated lol.

No I'm not going to be DIY god and try and rig it into my 240. I just wanted to know if it would fit, because I'd rather have my LSD in the 240 and not the 280. thanks for the info.

The 280zx didn't have a stock lsd. So either it's not an lsd or it's from a 87-89 300zxt and it won't fit in a 240sx but you could probably sell it on ebay for 500 or more and have more than enough to get a j30 VLSD that you can slap right in the s13.
