I need to go to bed and just want to shout out Nighty night to everyone. Do you guys have a way of saying good-night to your significabt others, parents, pets? My fiance will not go to sleep until I say good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite, and sweet dreams. What other ways do you guys say good night?

Hmmm... wow... interesting question...

To my parents, it's "g'night," as well as with chick friends.

Girlfriends it's usually something more like "g'night, sleep well, have fun (but not too much :D)."

The guys, well... it's a "later" most of the time.

Always gave Mom a kiss good night and Dad a hard hi-five good night until I moved out...

NICOmom's usually fast asleep before I get a chance to tell her goodnight. :)

Nothing wrong with being old-fashioned. About time people started throwing around some kindness and niceties.

but if i do get the chance to say good night, i say "cho tao" (means good night in chinese :D)

to my parents, i ususally give them a kiss on the cheek, both mom and dad, and say "cho tao" too, but sometimes "wan un" (mandarin for good night)

It is sleep good to my family.

Now when we all leave work, it is sleep fast, instead of see you tonight.

my family is real big on saying goodnight... and my fiancee WILL NOT sleep without being kissed goodnight. If she does fall asleep she will wake me up 15 mins later and yell at me for not kissing her. when she is that tired I lie to her and say "Oh I did, right as you were falling asleep."lol

Considering that I take care of 5 kids ;ages 21months, 3, 5, 7 and 12, two large dogs, the house, the Hitman, cook, clean and run errands... I think passing out at 11pm is acceptable. Just because you can't stop talking to the guys on NICO long enough to say goodnight to me...:nono

Perhaps if you'd learn how to say goodnight to the guys a little earlier you might get more than a goodnight from me:icesangel

Wow. It's 2am and I have to be awake at 8:50. Wow... that's gonna suck, especially with a sunburn. Oh well. Just thought I'd tell my NICO buddies...

G'night!

When I lived at home it was goodnight to my mom and dad.Later to friends.

My wife and I usually lay in bed and talk a bit about the days events and our son. We rarely ever say goodnight to each other anymore. I remember a time when we used to say goodnight everynight, after 10 years of marriage I guess some of the simple things get taken for granted.
