Hey what's fellow datsun owners and lovers. I just bought a. 71 521 with a L16. I have a full ka swap I wanna put in her but wanted to if its the same as putting one in a 510. I've had 2 240z cars already and like 5 240sx's with diff motor packages but I have fallen in love with the but want power.

Ok thank u very much but what really about the motor mounts will be different. Sorry to b a noob but I love this truck and don't wanna screw it all up. Wiring I know but is there anyway to get a brief step by step to put the motor and trans in. I have plenty of ka to 510 diagrams but can't find one to put it in a 521. I just briefly need to know what differs from putting it in the truck. For example in a 510 u have to cut the crossmember and turn it 180 and loose the sway bar is it like that also like that on the truck. Thank u in advance.

A lot of this stuff, you'll just have to mock it up. I think I have the 521 wiring diagram, lemme find it and i'll post it up.
