i really need a new motor and these guys seem to know how to do it right. it's a bit expensive, but at least they would ship to my door. i've been looking for a replacement motor for the longest time but nobody wants to go through the trouble of shipping and i have no way to pick up motors from out of state..

specificallyhttp://www.phatka-t.com/engineparts.htm

i've emailed them in the past a few times but no answer. i remember somebody affiliated with that site posting here. i'm just wondering if any of you know if they are still active in their KAT enthusiasm and if they can still offer a built motor ..

cool, thanks for the info man.

since one of those would set me back about 3600$ i was thinking just drive it around without a turbo for a while until enough cash rolled in to redo a ka-t...

It would probably run like crap with such low comp. (I would assume)Tophatperformace.com also offers KA crate motors for cheaper than PK check them out

Just talk to a local machinest. You can easily get it done. Ask around and find who is highly recommended though.

Yea I'm getting my motor built by the local mechanic next door to my work.He knows what he is doing and I'm not going to pushing him to get it done asap.So he has time to get it done right.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I left Sound Performance and now work for AMS. All the core motors that were being used at SP were owned by me and are now with me at AMS. I actually have quite a few more motor cores now.

There are paid sponsors here so I am not making this a sales pitch, but letting you know what is up.
