is my turbo to big????

im new to nissans but i wanted to build a turbo car so i chose a 91 240sx coupe car with a rb20det, i wanna know if my after market turbo is to big for the stock motor, i have a garrett gt3076r is this to big?

should be alright. depending on how much boost you wanna run, and what RPM you want to be at when you hit full boost.

To big for what? Not trying to be mean, but that's not a very good question. What are you plans for the car (street warrior, drag racer, drifter)? What supporting mods do you have? What's your budget?

strong street but a good drifter too, an i jus want this turbo on there, i dont know what i need to run this turbo, will the stock manifold work?

wrong turbo for drift, unless you want to abuse the crap out of the clutch to keep it going the response is terrible.trust me on this one...might be good for a wide open roadcourse but definately not for a drift car.you'll have to rev the engine quite hard to make it really come to life...i dont see full boost (14psi) until 4.4k, and thats with cams in the engine.

Yea thats a little to big to be really effective to drift on with a 20.

There are other better choices for sure.
