Im starting to think my transmission is going to go out on me. Here's the reason why:1. I get a nasty squeel when I engage the clutch. This is mostly noticeable in 1st but sometimes I can hear it in 2nd or 3rd. I hear this mostly when I let the clutch out.2. My car sounds like its in reverse constantly usually in the lower gears. 3. When idling and with the clutch out, I hear a whining noise. Then when I push the clutch in, the noise goes away. 4. Sometime shifting can be rough. 2nd gear will lock when driving normally. Theres a slight grind going into 3rd.5. When revving to redline with the car in first and the clutch in, the car moves. Is this natural?I think these are the main issues. I think I might have to rebleed the clutch. I did it by myself during the swap without a bleeder. I replaced the transmission oil about 5k miles ago with Redline MT-90. The engine is a S13 Black Top with about 50k miles on it and the transmission. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the clutch is not installed properly. my buddy had the same exact problem when he pulled his motor and put it back in in his rx-7. Turns out he was missing a spring and his clutch needed to be bled again.

Bleeding the 240 clutch isn't fun if you have the stock damper box still on the car. It's also very difficult to get ALL the air out of the system. I don't think anything is wrong with your transmission. I would just check all the clutch components again.

I would look at your clutch installation and make sure everything is lined up right. Definitely check your throw out bearing and bleed it properly.

i don't think your transmission will go on right if the clutch is it not properly aligned. I know I tried this before and it didn't work until i realigned everything. drain your fluid and check your magnetic plug for signs of metal shaving. definitely rebleed and adjust the clutch pedal.

the cltch needs to be adjusted- bleeding it should take care of that. a bad through-out bearing will cause the sqeeling.

goodluck!
