I'm not sure if there's really a way to test it other than swapping out with a known good one. Have you done anything to the car in the past week? Have you checked your plugs to make sure they're not fouled up a bit? I would say gap them down to .09 or .08 but if this just started to happen then it's probably not the plug gap.

One way to test your coil packs is shown here:http://www.rb20det.com/testcoilpack.html

If you do that test remember to find the internal resistance of your multimeter first and subtract that from the measured resistance across the coil pack. I forgot to do this the first time and thought my coils were bad because my crappy DMM has a pretty high internal resistance (in comparison to what we're measuring).

If they test ok then you may want to pull the coil packs out, and pull the rubber boot off. Look at the spring and make sure there's no corrosion on it. Also make sure there's no debris inside the boot that the spark could be jumping to under load instead of to the plug.

That's about all I know as far as testing these things. I had a similar problem to yours, except my problem was caused by a poorly home-made adapter to connect a pod filter to my MAF.

Dro0 your plug gaps to 0.8mm. if thats better but still a little hazy, you'll have to go lower.W've had to take them to about 0.65mm before to clean it up.

I know its up from the dead. But this guy hasent got on in almost a year and I was wondering if anyone else knows how to fix this or diagnose. My plugs are gapped at .24 btw and are brand new.
