Hello im just about ready to drop in my redtop and just wanted to get a few opinions on my harness situation...with the execption of the spot on the pic, the rest of the harness looks brand new.

My question is do you guys think its still useable? Im comfortable with my wirirng abilities or should I save myself the headache and source out a newer one?

There seems to be alot of electrical tape on this thing im thinking of soldering it back together.

also this isnt my DD so time really doesnt matter.

as long as you can color match, and the harness isn't hacked up anywhere else i don't see the problem. if it doesnt start though the first thing i'd do is get a new harness.

Eh, that's nothing... You shouldn't have any problems as long as you can still trace the wire back to the ECU connector.

Here's what my harness looks like now, after I tore it apart:http://i3.photobucket.com/albu...2.jpg

Here it is, just about finished:http://i3.photobucket.com/albu...s.jpg

Though mine wasn't really cut or anything, the only wires that were cut, were for AC and PS.

Well, don't follow it too much, my engine is an SR20DE... Uses a distributor and has a few things different from the turbo motor... Though some things are the same.

My power connector, dash connector, and consult connector are all custom BTW, those aren't actually on a nissan factory harness
