Hey Everyone,

I have a 95 240sx and everything (Odometer, MPH, Fuel and Temperature) gauges are not working.

All that works is the RPM Gauge.

Is my cluster going bad or do I just have a bad Fuel, Temp and Speed sensor?

I have no idea where to start, all help would be appreciated thanks.

is the back lighting working?

check all your fuse's and make sure all the connections to the cluster are where they should be.

Disconnect your speed sensor from the transmission and rotate it by hand. If it moves, it's probably the gear in the transmission, like mine.

The odometer most likely is broken (cluster). Idk about the fuel & temp.

The backlight and dimmer both work fine. I have yet to take the cluster out to inspect it and I will go out and check the fuses right now.

Is the speed sensor held in by any screws or can I just pull it out. I'm pretty sure I know where it is (rear most sensor on the transmission)

stop please...

get an FSM, a multimeter and take out your cluster and do the proper tests in the fsm. damn... guessing is not the right way to solve a problem!

you have to hook up the pos and negs from your multimeter in certain locations and test to see if you are getting a signal from the faulty locations. you will receive the signal through the multimeter if your sensors are working properly. 99% chance you have a ****ty cluster.
