is my exhaust apexi N1?

i have a catback exhaust and someone told me it's not apexi. When installed on my 240sx, it looks exactly like an apexi N1.

fromt he welds it does not look like an Apexi at all.. I don't think it is an Apexi N1... I could be wrong...I would have to look at it in person though to make the final decision.

if the tip is yellow then its not an N1, if its bluish then it is

I agree with Black240. To me It looks like an N1 but those welds really make me think it's not. Can I have for free?? :-P

the apexi n1 has a resonator? i didn't know that. maybe for the s14's. hmm...

definitely aftermarket. you should'nt see weld marks that obvious on a quality piece of exhaust like apex'i makes. Apparently someone went to a muff shop and asked for a knock-off to be made.

the exhaust is from a car that was in nyc. maybe the welds are there because the resonator was added to reduce noise?

Could be from a repair, more likely someone added a resonator... Bet it's not producing much power.

Not half as pretty as the BRM system for the S14...

why spend that much on a n1 to just destroy it's characteristics? but if it doesn't say apex'i on the tip of the canister.... then again, you say it doesn't say it on your buddy's Supra? Perhaps because it's the GT model. I don't know. I wouldn't label it as an n1, it's not an n1 design anymore, on account of that resonator.

u know what it is? the universal muffler says apexi but their catback doesnt? maybe this kid's brothers muffler is a universal apexi so it says apexi on it and mine doesnt because it's the catback(doesnt show on the website). its only the one kid that said its not an apexi

Apexi exhaust, and N1', have a plate welded ont eh bottom of the muffler with the APEXi logo. So, no its not an N1
