Is my engine really blown???

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

hey I have a thread on the general section about my engine being blown. It has all the information on there. But I have a feeling it is just the timing chain and maybe a broken off guide. But I will not be sure it was a guide until later on this week, so if you could check out my thread and let me know if my "dead" engine is fixable, that would be GREATly appreciated. thanksps the engine wants to start, but dies after a little over a second of cranking.link : zer...rally

in order for you to have snapped that chain..you or she must have let that engine run for a while with no oil man..the pistons are probly fused to the block and the crank fused to the rods.....stick a fork in her..its done man.
