is my door supposed to do this?

hey whats up all, just last weekend I had to put new door locks in my 240 and I put them in and now the doors wont stay locked when you shut them?you can lock them from the outside and inside once the door is shut but if you lock it and than shut it, the door unlocks it self?

In everyone else's 240 that i know of, this is how they work. I was always gotten thrown off by that, because my 240 never done that.

That is normal. It is the old method manufacturers used to deter locking your keys in the car. It can be bypassed by pulling up on the handle as you shut it.

the thing that really got me was that it didn't do it before and my last 240 didn't do it either, must have fix it by accident but what was really fun was that the locks I bought didn't let you lock them from the outside, but than I swaped the lock arm and now it lets me lock it from the out side.

I'll try the handle thing, thanks
