So today I unbolted my passenger side motor mount, to find this:

Does this look bad enough that I will need to put a new cross member in? If so, are there any alternatives to replacing the cross member (repair wise)?

It ain't pretty but still salvageable, It looks like someone tried desperately to remove the engine without unbolting the mount. I'd hammer it flat and weld it up and grind it smooth. If you can't weld there are generally mobile welders, this is like a 10 minute job for someone who knows what they are doing. Or just hammer it flat and use a large washer on the backside.

One rule for repairs in aviation is to make sure the repair is stronger than what has failed. As such, I would weld in the washer as a doubler.
