Umm yeah, I took out my crank pulley to replace my front oil seal, and I looked at the crank shaft and there was a crack in it... There is an actual little piece that will come out. WTF? There is also a crack in my crank pulley which I believe was leaking the oil, and not the front seal.

How is the crank shaft supposed to look? Just a smooth and round right? No indents or anything?

Thanks

there should be a cutout for the woodruf key. it looks like a little piece of a circle.

So there's a little cut out, then I'm assuming on the crank pulley, there's a little indent to fit that little cut out on the crank shaft correct?

If this is true, then I've just solved my crank problem and oil leak problem.

yup, the crescent shaped cut out and key match. they hold the sprocket and pulley in position.
