I am currently doing a 5 speed swap on my 1991 240SX, with most parts sourced from my buddies 91 which he doesn't need since he got a CA. Well his dad moved the clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate (all conncected) outside of the shed one day and forgot to put them back, and now all three have some nice orange on them. I figure I can get the flywheel resurfaced, but is there any way to "clean" the rust off the clutch and pressure plate? I would like to avoid spending alot of money right now, but I did see a stock exedy clutch and pressure plate for 130 bucks or so, so I guess I could do that. Thanks guys.

Well to answer my own question, and to maybe put it out there for anyone that would somehow search this question, apparently it doesn't matter if theres a little rust or residue on the clutch/pressure plate, according to the machine shop I talked to.
