Is my 300zx blue interior rare?

It appears that the seats were swapped out.

Does anyone know if this interior is rare? The trunk carpet is also blue. Just hard to tell from the pic.

If so, I have the chance to buy some leather blue seats in good condition, but not sure if it will be worth it.

I ran my vin in the registry and it says it's japanese leather.

Is there a difference between this and US leather?

Can't say that I'm super familiar with the differences in the interior other than cloth vs leather in the z32's, but there is always the possibility that someone used some vinyl paint and colored it/dyed it to be blue. I'm sure someone else will have more info than I will as far as what the factory options were for interior.

Yes, your blue interior is super-rare, the rarest color available and especially if the leather.

Dcaff is crazy, the blue interior isnt rare. The fact is its the most common color out there. I think you should sell it, I have $50 with your name on it and I will give you my ULTRA RARE black interior.


















Just kidding, I agree with Dcaff, buy those seats!!!!! What are you doing with the ones in your car after you get them? I love the RX8 seats. I honest I love the RX8 more, but the seats are pretty nice.

Well I just found out that the seats are actually z31 and not z32.

But they are in good condition. Do you think I should still buy them and modify the brackets?

What do you guys think? Should I buy the seats? I see they have buttons on them, so I'm not even sure if they would be compatible...

Oh, bummer with the one back damage but I'd still do it- they are in pretty darn good shape and no bolster tear so common. You may be able to recover those pieces and re-use the outer seal piece.
You still should have a harness connection under the carpet/in that area to hook up the power seat I'd think, hunt around after removing the old one.
