I came accross the 2009 focus RS in my Modified magazine. priced at $35,000 with the optional green paint. 5 cylinder turbo charged engine. check out the pics it's definately different. I couldn't believe my eyes in the magazine. the nagazine has better pics showing the wide body kit. what u guys think?

The first nice focus! There has been video reviews of it already on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdAGKNogdAw

Check it out, actually pretty good. 300hp in a focus . It's a car that could beat the 3.5's . It hurts me to say that.

35K is wayyyyyyy too much for a FORD. for that price and body style (hatchback), why not go with the new STI

FrequentlyOnRepairDuty

my two cents.

that car is the hottest hot hatch in the world!

it has to be the best engineered FWD car sold to the general public. HLSD with REVOknuckles! damn if nissan could get a piece of that, It would be soo awesome!! seriously, that car can keep up with the sti and the evo X.

check out the video:http://www.autocar.co.uk/Video...&CT=V

here's a little less "biased" video review with the 135i and the EvoX as competition :http://motoring.sky.com/featur....aspx

this new Ford RS has been made by the euro division. They are in a completely different league then the American HQ

For real though, that car is KILLER Looking! It took all the commonalities that are in the focus and made them neat looking.

I LOVE the interior. That Gauge Cluster is SWEET looking.

Looks ok, good power, but pricey.

However, all in all, it is still a Ford!

similar performance, much more comfortable and daily drivable, pornstar bodykit and killer exhaust sound, plus it's cheaper (all the prices are in UK money)

Anyone who continually bashes Ford is ignorant to current qualities of build and reliability and needs to re-evaluate their current knowledge of cars.

I'd totally rock that Focus - reminds me of my Focus days...

x2Of any of the American car manufacturers, Ford is the only one I would support. Their Euro division is pretty kick a** IMHO...

I have to admit that focus is hot but not for $35K I can see this as another epic fail for ford. That price is just as bad as revamping the T-birds and trying to sell them for $45K :oy ARE YOU ON CRACK BUDDY!!

well thats what an sti sells for so why wouldn't that 300hp ford RS (with race tech like HLSD and REVOknucles and all the usuall high quality stuff like 19inch light weight wheels, large caliper brakes, antiroll bars all around, massive potential 2.5 turbo engine, and killer body kit and interior) sell for the same price?

brand? euro ford is hot!racing heritage? hot hatches focus are WRC rally proven for many years, just check youtubehotness factor? OMG!! SEXTACULAR

it wouldn't surprise me if this car sold like hotcakes here. just make it limited run of 500 on top of the regular priced normal focus and there you go. Iconic car 101!

yeah it "looks cool" and is "fast" but reliability, the way it works, and if its cheeply made are all good questions to ask yourself before going and buying a domestic. I know not all are mechanically inclined or have time to fool around with a car but for that amount of $ could have a way tighter car.but if you like it then you like it

it's not really a domestic ...it's designed, engineered, and built in Europe, by ford EUROPE.

it's like saying Ford Australia's FPV Falcon GT-P is a domestic

Ford drastically moved up in overall quality according to J.D. Power, it's now ranked up with nissan, honda, and toyota if I remember right.

+1. The main complaint that I've always read about the US Focus was that it wasn't the Euro Focus. It (US Focus) has always been a box of $#!+ when compared to its Euro brother, and Ford has been unwilling to import/build the Euro version here, for whatever reasons...
