I have ask the previous owner and he says that my car does not come with the a/c. So how much is a new install ?

Do you currently have A/C, and it's not working?

If you're just out of gas, doing the R-134a conversion is probably worth it. R-12 is going for upwards of $80 a pound now (if you can even find it), and it'll be really expensive to recharge it.

A/C is not bad for the environment.

Poorly-maintained A/C systems are bad for the environment.

In a properly maintained A/C system, the CFCs never get out. It's a sealed system.

uh huh :)

Plus it helps when you are driving in 100+ weather.

Do you know what it would cost to convert to the R134a? Ballpark or best guess?
