I would like to know if going synthetic oil in my versa '09 is wort it. I am doing around 12 000 km/year around 45% traffic-city and 55% highway. And we get all around weather (snow and cold and hot)

Synthetics are better for protecting your engine for the long haul - do you plan on keeping your car for a long time/lots of miles?

Also, synthetics don't break down as fast as regualr dino oils - you can extend your oil change intervals to a little longer if you want as well.

Most enthusiasts will use synthetic oils because they offer greater protection and lubrication in the engine, and it helps the life of the engine out greatly.
