i keep seeing these hi flow cat/resonators/test pipes on sale for ebay my question to anyone who has got one are they really a replacement for the cat and do they actually work here is a picture

YOu can just get your current cat knocked out. It's not exactly environment friendly though. And typically with cat's, you get what you pay for...

Where I live, there are mandatory emission checks you have to preform on your car every 2 years. And you can't exactly *trick* them with a knocked out cat because they shove a sensor up your tailpipe to measure emissions.

yep, its also a federal offence to remove or destroy a catalictic converter, not to mention you will not pass an emmisions test without one.
