Hey people I live in Phoenix Az and im planning to swap in a sr20det in my s14. I went to a local performance shop over here and asked how much for that motor. It was going to come out around a lil over $2500 for motor, transmission, harness and ecu. A buddy of mine said I can get that setup in Cali for a little less than that. Is this true? Is there alot of shops out there that specialize and sale nissan motors and stuff?

so many options here in socal, and in regards to reputable shops, competition is tough, everyones trying to beat everyone else's price (cept Drift speed, their prices are rediculous )

+1 more for R&D, I drove down and bought my Silvia front from Jackson (JXN) from R&D. Quality service, pieces, and such.. dont really know too much about the motorswap sitch but I'd say R&D would be a safe bet... Oh yeah... And its worth comin out here just to see how beautiful Cali is. I worked construction out in Phoenix this past summer, and I really missed Cali the whole time.
