I just installed a header and it doesnt have a hole for the secondary O2 sensor. So I took it off, now I have Check engine light on and the code is for the 2nd O2 sensor. I heard a guy say that I can do something to the wires of the secondary O2 sensor so that it will fool the Ecu to think that eveything is still good. Has anyone heard of this or has done it? I hate the CEL when its on. Thanks in Advance :thinker

You can also always drill a hole in the header and weld in a Oxygen Sensor bung and properly connect the oxygen sensor. You Drill the hole and provide the bung, I doubt any muffler should would charge you more that $10 to weld it on. Then just screw in the o2 sensor.

agreed. with 2nr..

most people run it down strem in the exhaust pipe.. so they dont have to weld there pretty header..

it works there as well take it an exhaust shop and ask them to weld in a 02 bung in you pipe right after header.. and might have to extend 02 wires.. but then all you do is screw in and reset ecu and problem fixed.
